Washington - Democratic presidential candidate Barack Obama came out on Thursday and rejected claims that he changed his stance on how to end the Iraq war.
He stated that his opinion now is no different from what he said on the subject in the past.
He stated to reporters, “I have always said, and again you can take a look at the language, that as commander in chief I would always reserve the right to do what’s best in America’s national interests.”
He also stated that he still intends to pull all combat troops out of Iraq within 16 months of being president, unless he has to slow the pace.
