British Prime Minister Gordon Brown has vowed to U.S. President George W. Bush to send more troops into Afghanistan.
Brown and Bush held a joint news conference on Monday in London, showing a great deal of unity as they deal with many of the major problems in the world, including the nuclear situation in Iran, Iraq, and Afghanistan.
The British PM believes that the added troops will help the country recover from years of conflict.
Bush spoke at the joint news conference as well, thanking Brown for the support.
This news conference concluded a week-long visit to Europe for Bush.
