The H5N1 bird flu virus has so far killed over 240 people around the world since 2003.

Health workers in Hong Kong carried out tests at four markets and saw that they the poultry tested positive for the bird flu.

There will be over 3,000 poultry slaughtered over the course of the week, on top of the 2,700 slaughtered last weekend.

They have yet to find any dead chickens with the virus, and it is believed humans are not at a very high risk.

They are proactive and preventive measures to say the least.
