According to reports, the Austrian father who kept his daughter in a dungeon for 24 years, planned to build that dungeon years in advance. He raped his daughter, getting her pregnant with 6 children.
The 73-year old Josef Fritzl has stated that he planned the dungeon 6 years before he locked his daughter, Elisabeth in it in 1984.
When she was 18-years old, he held her hostage in the dungeon, and kept her there for 24 years.
Investigators believe that he was in the planning phase of the dungeon years in advance, meaning it was all thought out when his daughter was only 12-years old.
Fritzl’s daughter is now 42-years old and her father has confessed to keeping her in the dungeon and raping her.
He kept three of the seven children he fathered with her in the dungeon as well.
They were locked behind eight locked doors. The last three doors were opened electronically by a secret code, according to reports.
Two doors were of reinforced steel, and concrete.
Fritzl is being held in St. Poelten prison.
