The vote was 76-22 in favor of giving the label of a terrorist group to the elite Revolutionary Guard in Iran. This organization has killed U.S. forces in Iraq and continues to do nothing but bad.

Senator Hillary Clinton voted for the amendmen which has passed. This is a sign of relations becoming poorer and poorer at an alarming rate between Iran and the United States as tensions continue to build and boil over.

Senators Barack Obama and John McCain missed the vote. It was sponsored by Republican John Kyl of Arizona as well as Democrat Joseph Liberman.

There has been no formal announcement yet from President Bush on the vote nor has there been any hint that he will abide by this ruling and give the Iran Revolutionary Guard a label as a terrorist group.

if he does so it would mean that the boiling point between the two countries is long passed.
