Hurricane Ike is set to threaten the U.S. Gulf Coast, and may still be a Category 3 storm when it does hit.

This would be the third major storm to hit the Gulf Coast in less than a month.

This comes just a week after New Orleans had to be evacuated due to the threat of Hurricane Gustav, which ended up being a false alarm for the most part.

As of Sunday evening, Ike has sustained winds of near 120 mph, with higher gusts.

On Monday morning, eastern Cuba was set to be hit by the hurricane.

We will have to wait and see how close it gets and threatens Florida, and other spots.
