Home » U.S. » California Border Moves 31 Inches South

Scientists at NASA have shown that the powerful 7.2 magnitude earthquake that hit southern California in April has actually moved the city of Calexico 31 inches to the south. The earthquake was centered about 31 miles south southeast of Calexico and caused the town to move as well as drop in altitude.

This is not the first time that a town has been moved due to an earthquake. Earlier this year when the large 8.8 earthquake hit Chile, the town of Conception moved an incredible ten feet to the west. This quake also shifted the earths axis, shortening earths days by 1.26 microseconds.

The 7.2 that hit the Baja region was the strongest earthquake to hit this area in over 120 years. Two people died in the quake and the area sustained a lot of damage. There have been several aftershocks from that quake including a 5.7 quake that hit only 10 days ago.

NASA has been able to track the shift by using satellite technologies used for mapping. NASA has been conducting surveys in the area trying to determine how far the fault line runs in this area. They know that it extends further south into Mexico but do not have permission to use their satellites for research there.

There have large earthquakes lately where the Pacific plate subducts the American continental plate. Also, consider the quakes in Haiti and Guatemala. Then, you have to ask what else was going on while ‘Deep Water Horizon’ was drilling. Gas kicks they called them, ummm, I wonder!

    Reply
    • The 7.2 quake was in mexico on the Laguna Salada Fault which is an extension of the Elsinore Fault which branches off into the Chino fault and the Whittier fault. This is subducting seprately on the pacific plate like a plate within a plate Not the San Andreas Fault which divide Pacific and North American plates. we have yet to see significant earthquake on this gigantic fault in recent history. This could mean the big one off the San Andres

wow I never thought of that I think the concept of them being related is unsound, and the timing is totally off, but it does make sense that affecting the buffer of liquid that acts like a cushion in many areas ,would affect the earth in that manner isn’t… I just wonder when will we stop burning stuff that comes out of the ground for fuel.. I mean its 2010, that what they did tens of thousands of years ago.. can we uh like.. progress a bit? solar? wind? hydrogen fuel cell technology please?

Be ready for a wake up call. The average American has accepted no to put up with
Mexican workers ( we are not talking about real criminals, but real hard working people as most of them are).Because they needed the work of hard working young people. It work for many generations. Now, it has become the Cinderella story: OH I always wanted to clean toilets! I always wanted to work outside at 115 F! Oh I always wanted to work on the fields you scambugs, etc, etc.
Well, deep down we all now, it is all the
greed starting from politicians, all the drugs starting with big celebrities, all
the immorality starting with all the powerful, that has caused all the problems. Yeah blame it to the lowly and
poor. You know better than the real problem are the drug dealers with money no the people that works hard and never claim taxes. It’s easier for everybody to divert the attention. If this country keeps on refusing having children will be the Muslims or anyone else that wants to have children and therefore will drive the young force of the country. The average American not immigrated is becoming too old to do all that hard work.

Its sad that some of them have to do that kind of work, but, they aren’t educated to do much else. How can they go to school and get an education when many can not read or speak english? If the came over the border illegally, then they haven’t any papers to qualify them for college. Also, most of them have not graduated high school..its hard for them to get a better job than the ones they do get because of the above problems, so what are they to do but take what they can. Their government is so rotten with corruption they couldn’t care less if they educate their people or not.Thats the government we should “bitch slap” for not taking care of their own people.Mexico has alot to offer if the country had the right people running it.

The movie 2012 was just a movie, just like the move “10″ and the other earthquake movies. They r based on stuff that’s happened n the past and now. But the bible already told us. Matt 24:7 “For nation will rise against nation & kingdom against kingdom, & there will b food shortages & earthquakes n 1 place after another. 24:10 Then, also, many will b stumbled & will betry 1 another & will hate 1 another. And many false prophets will arise & mislead many. The bible tells us this wicked system and wicked ppl will b distroyed, not the earth itself. Ppl have 2 live on earth and God created it 4 his children 2 live on.

We are told to watch the fig tree and you will know the time is near. We are no longer a friend to them. Many signs. No man knows the hour but if Jesus wanted us to be clueless he would not have given us so many things to look for. Study Math. 24 and Luke 21. Exciting days for those that love God! We are kept! God Bless.

Funny, the USA gets another 31 inches of Mexico! Over a couple hundred miles of border, that’s some real estate. Well, 31 more inches of sovereign, free, democratic land and 31 less inches of narco, puppet, junk land. Maybe some of the illegals coming over can be hired to move the fence.

  8. jackson July 3, 2010

Alright, Mexican apologists, don’t cry. First of all, if the U.S. hadn’t defeated Mexico and taken the land it did (plus buy more later), then all of what’s now the western U.S. would look like the cesspool that exists on the other side of the border now. And, instead of sneaking in across the desert, Mexicans would be freezing to death crossing the Rockies and trying to sneak into the U.S. Second of all, if you’re going to cry, just think of the fact that Mexico’s illegal export are now almost 3 feet closer to clean water.

Well, the Bible did say “in the last days there would be earthquakes in one place after another”. The interesting thing behind this is that not only are there more earthquakes (because they have been happening for ages), but in this particular time period, the frequency (or scale) of these quakes are greater.

Do they know the history of Ellis Island? Almost 100% registered. We don’t want the Mexicans here, but too many people are paranoid they will be called racist. Here’s what.
