Boston (OTL) - Democratic presidential candidate Barack Obama has come out and attacked Republican candidate John McCain, in regards to his health care plan.
A recent report put out by The Commonwealth Fund has revealed that the Obama health care proposal is superior over the course of the next decade.
In the next 10 years, it is said that the Obama plan would be able to cover 34 of the 67 million uninsured Americans, compared to only 2 million of the 67 million uninsured under the McCain plan.
Obama has even gone out and put out a new TV ad to rip the McCain health care plan, stating “On health care, John McCain promises a tax credit. But here’s what he won’t tell you. McCain would impose a new tax on health benefits, taxing your health care for the first time ever. It’s a multi-trillion dollar tax hike — the largest middle class tax increase in history. You won’t find one word about it on his web site, but the McCain tax could cost your family thousands. Can you afford it?”
It is clear from the polls that Obama has a big lead in the health care department.
