Washington (OTL) - The Kaiser Family Foundation has put out a new report, showing that there are still major problems in New Orleans after Hurricane Katrina.
The Kaiser Family Foundation conducted a survey of 1,300 residents of Orleans Parish from March 5 to April 28. The idea behind this was to see how residents were doing post-Katrina.
Overall, the results were not good, as 52% of the residents in New Orleans are “dissatisfied” with progres made, while 11% are simply “angry.”.
Looking at the numbers deeper, 72% stated that there was no progress made in terms of housing, and 71% reported no progress in fighting crime.
Over 50% went as far as to state New Orlenas has been forgotten by the American people, Congress, or the president.
