Washington (OTL) - President Bush has made it clear that the violence in Georgia will not be accepted.
He took part in an interview with NBC, stating “I’ve expressed my grave concern about the disproportionate response of Russia and that we strongly condemnd the bombing outside of South Ossetia.”
The U.S. is trying to push Russia to stop the violence against Goergia.
Russia has been trying to take control of the breakaway province of South Ossetia.
VP Dick Cheney stated that the aggression by Russia cannot go without a response.
Since Friday, it is believed that over 2,000 people have been killed in South Ossetia.
Bush will his week trip in Asia by attending a baseball game and other events on Monday at the Beijing Olympics.
