The 76-year old Democratic senator had to be airlifted to the hospital after suffering a seizure this past Saturday at his home on Cape Cod in Massachusetts. Doctors have found that the seizure was caused by the malignant brain tummor.
Doctors have stated that they have found the cause of the seizure, a malignant brain tumor.
The prognosis is not yet known as they are running more tests to see how to treat it, but it is located on the left side of his brain. He is said to be in very high spirits.
Common treatment methods for this type of problem include chemotherapy, radiation, or surgery.
