And that, authorities said Sunday, apparently led a group of young people to carry out a massacre, stabbing or shooting not just the parents but also their two younger children, then burning the family’s house down Saturday.
The girl, who was not identified because of her age, was arraigned Sunday on three counts of capital murder and being held on $1.5 million bond. Charlie James Wilkinson, the girl’s 19-year-old boyfriend, and two others were arraigned on the same charges.

She and three others were arraigned Sunday on capital murder charges.

She was arraigned with 19-year-old Charlie James Wilkinson, 20-year-old Charles Allen Wade, and 18-year-old Bobbi Gale Johnson.

Bond has been set at $500,000 each.

The killings were prompted when the daughter was not allowed to date one of the suspects.

The bodies of her mother, Penny Caffey, 37, and two younger brothers, Tyler, eight, and Matthew, 13, were found in their burnt-out home in Alba, East Texas.

Police stated all victims were shot and stabbed.

The father, Terry Caffey, was shot in the head but survived. he is in critical condition but is helping police.

The killings have left the small town in Texas, as well as the entire nation, shocked.
