Boston - According to a poll, Former Gov. of Massachusetts Mitt Romney and former Mayor of New York City Rudy Giuliani are all tied up in the state of New Hampshire as they continue their 2008 White House campaigns.
A survey was conducted by the University of New Hampshire as well as WMUR and CNN. They found that the support of Romney has dropped 10 percentage points since July. He is now at 23 percent which gives him a small lead over Giuliani.
Rudy Giuliani only trails Romney by 1 point as his support grew to 22 percent from 18 percent in the state back in July.
The winner of the 2000 New Hampshire primary and current candidate John McCain is in 3rd place at 17 percent. He has gained 6 points since July.
The survey was of 324 likely voters and was taken in September between the dates of the 17tha nd the 24th.
Sampling error of plus or minus 5.4 percentage points must also be factored in.
The director of the survey center Andrew Smith stated “Most Republican voters have yet to decide who they will eventually vote for.”
This means that in New Hampshire at least, the race is up for anyone to win, whether it be Giuliani, Romney, or someone else.
