Mother Says She Now Believes In Miracles

Grantsburg, Wisconsin-Just a few hours before some hard choices about scaling back the search for a young autistic adult were going to have to be made, emergency firefighters searching found the young missing lad.

Keith Kennedy is a 25 year old autistic young man that had been missing more than a week, and he was found severely dehydrated, covered with ticks and sores, but alive after a length search.

Two St. Paul firefighters who were actively searching for the missing autistic young man found him lying in a wooded area near a creek to the west Trade Lake Camp.

It was the fourth time that the area had been repeatedly searched for the young missing man.

“It is unbelievable, and I am still in shock, I believe in miracles now, I really do,” said his mother, Linda Kennedy when she was told the news.

Keith Kennedy is in the intensive care unit at University of Minnesota Medical center. He is in stable and improving condition, according to a hospital spokesperson.

Over 100 different searchers, including 75 firefighters from the Twin Cites area were preparing to stop searching on Sunday, because it had been more than a week since Keith went missing.

Kennedy was found by Gary Ruiz and Jim Cotroneo, brave firefighters that were only glad to have found the young lad. They were preparing to leave the area when they found Mr. Kennedy.
