Former sprinter and Olympic gold medalist Antonio Pettigrew has confessed to using performance-enhancing drugs.
His admission to the use of performance-enhancing drugs adds to the government case against Trevor Graham.
Pettigrew has denied in the past that he was involved in any type of illegal drug use.
He has testified though that Graham urged him to use human growth hormones as well as other drugs between 1997 through 2001.
He testified he got the drugs through steroid dealer Angel Memo Heredia, after they were recommended by Graham, a former coach.
This admission could cost him his gold medal he won at the 2000 Sydney Games in the 4×400 relay.
