The Boston Celtics took game 1 of the Eastern Conference semi-finals on Tuesday night in Boston over the Cleveland Cavaliers, led by Lebron James.
Lebron James was quiet for the majority of the night as he could not get a thing going for the entire game.
The Boston Celtics played superb defense, but also played some sloppy offense.
The offense was led by Kevin Garnett, with a bit of help from the likes of Sam Cassell, Rajon Rondo, James Posey and company.
Lebron James went 2 of 18 in terms of field goals, not too good for the NBA scoring champion.
Ray Allen went scoreless for the game, the first time since his rookie year in 1997.
Overall, Garnett and the Celtics defense led the way with a 76-72 victory.
The Boston Celtics are now up 1-0 in the series, with game 2 set for Thursday night in Boston, MA.
