Washington (OTL) – NASA has welcomed back the space shuttle Endeavour as it made a successful landing in California on Sunday.
The space shuttle Endeavour completed a successful mission to the International Space Station, delivering all types of goods and installing new equipment.
The original plan was for Endeavour to land at the Kennedy Space Center in Florida.
This was changed though to the Edwards Air Force Base due to bad weather that the space shuttle was facing.
Endeavour touched down in California at 4:25 p.m. EST according to a written statement put out by NASA.
It docked with the International Space Station on November 16th, doubling the size of the ISS capacity from 3 to 6.
