Boston (OTL) - Most young people, and some not so young, have been there before. You have a few too many drinks and you feel the need to send that email that should never have been sent.
Well our good and thoughtful friends at Google have a solution for those who can’t resist the drunk email. Google introduces Gmail Goggles.
Google is trying to protect you from sending that email you would never send if you were sober. Once the program is enabled, you click on the Labs icon in Gmail and choose it.
Google will only run the program on weekends and late at night.
It will work like an online breathalyzer so to speak. You have you complete a few easy math problems within a certain amount of time to prove you are not drunk.
Although more a joke than anything, it will be interesting to see if people actually use it. More importantly, it will be interesting to see if people are too drunk to remember to use it.
