Toronto (OTL) - A joint ad campaign with the two internet giants Yahoo and Google faces yet another delay.
This time the U.S. Department of Justice antitrust lawyers have a major concern with the deal. They are not fully satisfied with proposal and will continue to review it.
The companies have agreed to the delay to allow for the Department of Justice to continue to review everything on the table. Both Yahoo and Google are confident a decision will be made soon. The longer things take to get moving
ultimately means lost dollars for both companies.
A reliable source reported to the Washington Post on Sunday that the delay will be less than one month.
The other competitors in the market are very much against the deal, fearing it would create a monopoly.
