Washington (OTL) – According to the latest statistics being released, the Google Chrome web browser is gaining quite a large user base to this point.
The beta release of Google Chrome for Windows was released on September 2nd, and will be going head to head with Apple Safari, Mozilla Firefox, and the leader, Microsoft Internet Explorer.
The latest market share stats from Net Applications show that Google Chrome now has around 1.5% of the Web browser market.
This has allowed it to become a staple already, showing big gains over a very short period of time.
So will it actually be able to top IE and Firefox? We will have to wait and see, but it is off to a good start.
