Washington (OTL) - It took some time, but the popular Scrabble-clone Scrabulous has now been removed from Facebook around the world.
The developers of Scrabulous, the Agarwalla brothers, came to the decision to take down the application from Facebook in the U.S. and Canada last month.
This came after Hasbro and EA both threatened to sue the developers if they did not remove it.
Mattel, who owns the international rights to Scrabble, has now had the game pulled from every market in teh world except in India.
Virtually, to this point, Scrabulous appears to be done. The Agarwallas are doing just fine though with their new Scrabble clone, Wordscraper.
