Washington (OTL) - The leading mobile phone provider on Turkey, Turkcell, has agreed to a deal to bring the iPhone 3G to the country.
Turkcell has signed a deal with Apple, bringing the iPhone 3G to Turkey before the end of 2008.
There has been little released thus far though in terms of a firm release date, pricing etc.
As of right now, the expectation is that Turkcell will have the phone out sometime in October.
The iPhone 3G is now available in over 20 countries around the world and has proven to be a major success.
In a few months, Turkey can join that list, offering the iPhone 3G to all.
