A federal judge in Boston ruled on Thursday that their findings will remain a secret, keeping the gag order in place.

The MIT students were able to hack into the MBTA payment system, adding hundreds of dollars to payment cards.

The three MIT students were prepared to reveal information as to how they carried out the hack to others.

A decision on Thursday will refrain them from doing that though.

Another hearing is set for next Tuesday to decide whether or not the restraining order against the MIT students should be changes.
