Toronto - Over the last several years Apple has slowly climbed it’s way to the top of the computer market. They are now is third, only behind HP and Dell.
According to a company called Gartner Research, Apple now controls 8% of the PC market. They now have control over 8% of the PC market.
Over all, the PC market has went up a staggering 16%, compared to this same time last year.
Dell holds the top spot in the U.S., with 31.9% of the PC market, an 11.9% growth over a year ago. They are followed by HP at 25.3%
In worldwide sales HP is still the number 1 company of computer sales, at 18.1%. Over the next few years that gap is expected to significantly decrease, due to the growing popularity of Apple.
