Google has announced that they are bringing the Google Talk instant-messaging application to the Apple iPhone and iPod Touch.
Google launched the new instant-messaging app on Thursday, as it will allow users to send friends Gmail messages from the iPhone.
The new application does not require any new software to be installed or downloaded.
All you have to do is open up the browser of the iPhone or iPod Touch, and go to www.google.com/talk.
Once you sign in, you can start chatting right away. The biggest thing to note though is that the application needs to be open in order to send and receive messages.
