New York - New York City, also known as the concrete jungle, now has waterfalls.
There have been four waterfalls set up on Thursday in what was a public art spectacle to say the least.
Mayor Michael Bloomberg stated that the waterfalls were “most unexpected. New York is a plce where big ideas are realized.”
The four waterfalls are now known as the New York City Waterfalls.
They were created by Danish artist Olafur Eliasson, who worked for over 2 years on then.
The project cost $15.5 million and will generate over $50 million in economic activity.
