Dial Around The World Service Offered To Public
Boston-There is a new service that allows users to dial around the world, making free calls to anyone that has called you using the Jaxtr widget.
Now, Jaxtr is launching an improved version of their new service, bypassing the Internet connecting first step.
The new service, one that allows you to call mobile phone to mobile phone around the world is not free, unlike its Internet based brother calling service.
In the new service, it is similar to how Skype functions, the Jaxtr service requires that you buy credits from the system.
If you desire to call regular phones and talk to people you have to obtain the credits that allow you to do that.
Still, the rates for calling around the world tend to be excellent, for example the rate to call a mobile phone or landline in China is one cent per minute.
But it also can be spending in some cases, the same call made to a phone in the United Kingdom can range up to 15 cents a minute.
Jaxtr hopes to turn its free Internet customers, or at least a goodly portion of them, into paying mobile and landline phone customers.
Fellow Internet telephony company Skype has demonstrated it is possible to do just that, and the benefit is win win.
The customer realizes a cheaper more inexpensive, more flexible and handy method to call worldwide, and the telephony companies work to stay connected with valuable paying customers bringing in much needed cash revenue.
