According to reports, Apple is in talks with Immersion to add vibration feedback to the iPhone.
The idea behind the vibration feedback is to give users of the iPhone the feeling that they are actually pushing buttons when they use the touchscreen of the iPhone.
The vibration feedback is already being used in the Samsung Instinct, and could now be making its way onto the iPhone.
Apple and Immersion have apparently already had two meetings in regards to the addition of vibration to the iPhone, but no confirmation of these meetings has come out yet from either company.
The vibration is known as haptic technology and would give short and concentrated vibrations to users when they push certain buttons.
This would patch up one of the biggest complaints about the iPhone, with its lack of physical buttons and keyboard.
