Microsoft stores first to feature touch-screen Microsoft Surface

AT&T has announced that their stores will be the first to feature the touch-screen Microsoft Surface.AT&T has announced that their stores will be the first to feature the touch-screen Microsoft Surface.

The Microsoft Surface is a tabletop computer basically. It allows multiple people to touch it at once, and will put out a great deal of information to AT&T customers.

AT&T will begin to place these Microsoft Surface devices in 22 stores starting on April 17.

The devices will be placed in San Antonio, Atlanta, San Francisco, as well as New York.

Customers will be able to take one or more mobile devices, place them on the Surface, and watch the computer recognize the device. From here, load of information about the device will come up on the screen.

Customers will also be able to see coverage maps, zoom in and out with hand gestures, etc.

In the future, customers will be able to purchase, drag, and drop ringtones from the devices onto the phone.
