NASA has announced that the mid-May launch of the shuttle Discovery has been delayed. The new launch date is now right at the end of May, May 31.
The NASA Shuttle Discovery is now expected to take off on May 31 from the Kennedy Space Center.
The official launch date has yet to be determined. It will be set by a standard Flight Readiness Review two weeks before launch.
The NASA Space Shuttle Discovery will be bringing up part two of the Japanese space laboratory Kibo.
This will be the 26th shuttle mission to the International Space Station.
