Google is getting ready for the final battle with Microsoft Office, as they are gearing up to bring Google Docs offline.
Google has come out and stated that users of Google Docs will soon be able to work and edit their documents when they are not online with an internet connection.
This means that Google Docs will be able to run offline, putting it in direct competition with Microsoft Office.
The new functionality went live on Monday for some Google Docs users, and is only expected to expand over time.
The ability for a company to take Google Docs and then use it offline may make many people wonder why they would want to pay hundreds of dollars for Microsoft Office.
