NASA cleared the space shuttle Discovery for launch on May 31st.
Discovery’s main mission is to deliver the main piece of the Japanese space laboratory Kibo to the International Space Station.
The launch is scheduled for 5:02 p.m. EDT on May 31st. It will launch from the Kennedy Space Center in Florida.
It is expected to dock with the International Space Station a few days later. NASA stated that they are in great shape in regards to meeting their expected launch date.
The Discovery astronauts will also carry out many maintenance jobs at the International Space Station.
