A massive recall of cheese is affecting the western part of the United States. Bravo Farms, which supplies cheese to Whole Foods and other outlets is recalling the following cheese products.
Sage Cheddar
Silver Mountain Cheddar
Chipotle Cheddar
Premium Block Cheddar
Premium White Chunk Cheddar
Chipotle Chunk Cheddar
White Black Wax Cheddar
The widespread recall is affecting the states of Oregon, Washington, California, Nevada, and Arizona. Apparently Listeria and E. coli were found in the cheese processing facility in California. Signs are now posted at Whole Foods and stores are encouraging customers to return the listed cheese products for a full refund.
No illnesses have been reported and customers that have questions can call a hotline at Whole Foods Market at 512-542-0878.
