Washington (OTL) – Nearly 400 people have fallen ill due to the salmonella outbreak in the U.S.
The outbreak has been seen in 42 different states in the U.S. according to the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC).
The official number of people sickened by the outbreak is said to be at 388 as of right now.
Roughly 20% of those cases resulted in hospitalizations.
There is no word as of right now as to what the source of the salmonella outbreak is.
Those who are sick are being asked what they ate recently to see if they could track it.
