Washington (OTL) – For those of you who want to take part in something for the new year, a Relay for Life event is something anyone can take part in, and make a major difference.
The American Cancer Society is set to have Relay for Life events take place all around the world throughout the new year 2009.
The Relay for Life has been going on for 25 years now and is taking place in the U.S. as well as in 19 other countries all around the world.
The idea behind it is to get people together to raise money to help fight cancer.
People can join in these events on their own or in a team as they raise money and have a lot of fun all at the same time.
For the new year, events are taking place in locations such as in Texas as well as other states in the U.S.
There is a reason the Relay for Life has been so successful, and it is because of everyone always being ready to volunteer.
