Washington (OTL) - The American College of Physicians (ACP) has urged all people over the age of 13 to get tested for HIV.
Doctors in the U.S. want all people over the age of 13 to get tested for HIV.
The hope is to try and make HIV testing routine, similar to getting your blood pressure checked.
The American College of Physicians made the announcement of the new push on World AIDS Day.
With over 1 million infected with HIV in the U.S., they want all over 13 to be tested.
This will help protect those who do not know they are infected.
The recommended guidelines are in the Annals of Internal Medicine Web Site.
