It is proven that after a woman goes through menopause, either naturally or surgically, they experience a decrease in their libido.(OTL) – Have you heard the news? There is possibly new hope for women who have lost their sex drive with a new testosterone patch. It is proven that after a woman goes through menopause, either naturally or surgically, they experience a decrease in their libido. It is thought that the decrease hormone levels are the cause of this decreased sex drive; therefore, much research has been placed on what hormone supplements can do for this problem.

The studies of this new testosterone patch have not proved to be without problems yet. The use of the male hormone to increase female sex drive seems to have some risks. One study revealed that out of 814 women, four of them developed breast cancer. Anytime hormones are supplemented, for any reason, cancer is the risk. Some of the women also developed excess hair growth; however, they did not stop using the hormone as the sex drive was considered worth the extra waxing they might have to do.

Men have had pills and lotions to assist with their inability to perform or their decreased sex drive for years now. Many argue that sex for a female begins long before the bedroom. This statement is true for most, and it is why it has been so hard developing a method for increased sexual drive for the female body. If the new testosterone patch could provide a much needed boost in female sex drive, perhaps it is worth a try. After all, what good is it to have male pills and lotions if there isn’t a woman with a drive for sex?
