Boston (OTL) – A new study in the New England Journal of Medicine has found that sexual episodes of women get more frequent with the use of a high dose of a testosterone patch.
A 24-week study focused on three groups up women, with one group on a high-dose of the patch, one on a medium dose, and one group on a placebo.
They found after the 24-weeks went by that the women on the highest-dose of the patch ended up having more satisfying sexual episodes.
An increase was seen in these women of 2.1 more episodes over a 4-week period.
In the middle dose the increase was only 1.2 times, while the placebo group was at 0.7 times.
