Washington (OTL) - Researchers have attempted to figure out whether or not exposure to bisphenol A (BPA) has any impact on breast cancer development.
The study was done by Yang M at Sookmyung Woman’s University in Seoul, Republic of Korea.
What researchers found was that ingestion of BPA has no impact at all on the risk of breast cancer.
The study was carried out to see if the chemical and exposure to it had any effect at all on Korean women in regards to breast cancer risk.
For the study, they compared BPA levels in 167 breast cancer patients and 167 controls. Blood samples were taken from 1994 to 1997.
The study was published on October 9th in the journal Archives of Toxicology.
