Washington (OTL) - It is being recommended this year that all kids get the flu vaccine.
The flu season is weeks away, and kids are definitely the most vulnerable, right up there with the elderly.
The current recommendation was always to get children aged two years and up vaccinated.
This are changing this year though, as the new recommendation is for all kids aged 6-months and up to get the vaccination.
There will be more than 143 million doses of the vaccine available this year, enough to cover the increase as well.
The hope is that by having more kids vaccinated, there will be fewer cases.
