Boston (OTL) - Two new cases of West Nile virus have been reported in the state of Washington.
The cases are from Benton-Franklin Health District in the state.
Reports state that the two victims are from Gradview and Prosser.
The first woman is in her 50s, while the other is in his 30s.
The two have symptoms such as fever and headache.
Usually, symptoms of West Nile appear 2 to 15 days after the initial bite.
Usually though, the majority of those infected recover, with virtually no symptoms.
The best thing to do is to protect yourself with bug repellent, long sleeves, pants, etc.
