Washington (OTL) - The FTC has come out and warned against fake cancer cures that are out there.
The FTC, the Federal Trade Commission, is going after firms who they believe have been making deceptive claims about fake cancer cures.
These firms are said to be able to cure all types of cancer.
The cancer cures are made up of coral calcium, digestive enzymes, and more.
The FTC stated though that there is no evidence that any of the products being marketed can prevent, cure, or treat cancer of any kind.
Six companies in total have been sued by the federal agency.
They are asking the companies to stop marking these potential cancer therapies.
