Toronto (OTL) - The U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has come out and stated that none of the tainted baby formula from China has made it to the U.S.
FDA investigators have confirmed that to this point, it does not appear that any tainted baby formula from China has made it to the U.S.
They have yet to find any of the formula as they have looked over hundreds of specialy stores across the United States.
FDA investigators have been working with state and local officials to carry out the search.
They began their hunt as soon as the FDA released their warning a week ago about the baby formula, and how it could lead to kidney failure.
The baby formula is tainted with the chemical melamine, which can cause kidney failure.
It has caused over 6,000 babies in China to be hospitalized, with 3 deaths so far.
