Washington, D.C.- The warnings featured on prescription drugs that are designed to treat the conditions and effects of rheumatoid arthritis, Chrohn’s disease and other related conditions are being carefully examined.
Many people in the medical field and in the medical supply field are urging Congress and others to put stronger warnings on the packages for the prescription relief medication.
The products that are linked with the TNF blocker issues include Johnson and Johnson Remicade, Wyeth’s, and several other products.
The drugs often assist in disease treatment, but their long-term efficacy is being questioned because of the number of patients that apparently later contract Cancer.
The current warnings on many of these products needs to be strengthened, and revised to reflect the true medical situation.
