The report from the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention revealed that from 1999 to 2004, there were 2.4 million cases of cancer linked to tobacco use.

The study was published in the CDC’s Morbidity and Mortality Weekly Report.

This was the most comprehensive look yet at tobacco use, and its connection to cancer.

Researchers stated that in the pas they long thought tobacco was linked to lung cancer and other cancer, but they never thought the incidence would be so high.
