Most of the cancer medical doctors and professionals in the province’s have participated in a mass resignation and quit.Newfoundland- The patients in Labrador and Newfoundland who have been diagnosed with Cancer have enough to worry about in the coping with their disease.

But now, they have the worry about where they will be able to obtain further Cancer treatment, as most of the cancer medical doctors and professionals in the province’s have participated in a mass resignation and quit.

Because of this, many locations across the region are without cancer and oncology doctors.

The mass resignations are linked to a report that was given the ministry of health by the oncology and cancer doctors.  In the report it laid out the lack of support, lack of resources, and the low wages that doctors are being paid.

The report was given to the Province Health ministry in June.

The Minister of Health for Newfoundland, Ross Wiseman, has asked the group of doctors that presented the report for more time.

The doctor resignations are all dated for October, and so the health ministry is gone into nearly battlefield type emergency planning to try and deal with the doctor and medical crisis.

The health ministry is trying to avert having all of the doctors quit, while being responsible with the resources and the money that members of the community have voted to use to support their doctors.
