Pittsburgh, PA- For those women that want to lose those extra pounds, research is proving that just good ol exercise is the most reliable method, and about an hour a day does the trick.
The researchers at the University of Pittsburgh looked a large number of women and found that the most reliable method was a 55-minute daily workout regime, and that it was the minimum amount needed to drop 10 percent in body weight for American Adult females.
Nearly a quarter of the 200 women that were examined were able to successfully lose 10 percent of their body weight, and all of them maintained the 55-minute a day exercise minimum.
A health expert from Britain has also said that research being done in the United Kingdom also backs up the need for a daily hour of exercise if you are serious about losing weight, it’s the best way to lose and keep it off.
About 2/3 of the adults in the United Kingdom are overweight, and different research points to calorie control and exercise as the two key ingredients to weight loss.
