Boston - The salmonella outbreak continues to spread across the U.S. as the U.S. Food and Drug Administration is now looking at jalapeno peppers as a possible source.
The FDA stated not too long ago that tomatoes may not be the source of the salmonella outbreak, which has infected more than 940 people thus far.
There have been nearly 1,000 people across 40 states sickened by the salmonella bacteria.
The FDA now believes that jalapeno peppers may be the source of the outbreak.
These are found in fresh salsa from Mexican restaurants, as the investigation has led that way.
