Nearly Half Of Heart Disease Deaths Do Not Exhibit Signs

Washington, D.C.-The recent sudden death of popular Television Anchorman Tim Russert has raised the question on the minds of a number of Americans- What does one do if you don’t have any symptoms of heart issues?

Many Americans are confused and are seeking answers, especially when they learn that Mr. Russert was being closely monitored, and had a recent stress test for his heart which he passed with flying colors.

Even though Tim Russert has a successful stress test, he still suddenly was stricken with a heart attack.

Most of the time in the past we believed that heart attacks were caused by progressive and gradual blockages in the arteries flowing away from the heart.

This has been the traditional view, and that when these arteries become blocked, then oxygen and other important nutrients are choked off, literally starving the patient and often resulting in death.

However new studies and research show that such blockages are not always the cause, and even when they are they are not always able to detect.

Plague can develop in the cell walls from a variety of causes, and lay dormant and invisible for years. Then, suddenly without warning, it strikes.

New efforts and methods at detection are being developed all the time, but for now, frequent check ups, eating wisely, exercising moderately and avoiding stress are the three best things you can do to boost your chances of not suffering from heart health issues.
