The American Red Cross has started a new promotion to offer blood donors a chance to win free gas.
The American Red Cross hopes that if they can give blood donors an incentive, they may be able to keep up with the slow summer months of blood donations.
They will offer blood donors the chance to win free gas and other gifts through raffles.
Over 20,000 more blood donors will be needed through Labor Day to reach the blood needed to help patients.
